Nodar Topuria (1942–2023) was a Georgian sculptor known for refined small statuary and expert gypsum finishes. A graduate of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, he later taught and led key cultural institutions. His acclaimed works, including Transfiguration and Sorrow, explore themes of emotion and transformation. He received the State Prize and the Order of Honor.
